Hi,
My pc running windows 10 had the boot/startup error occur earlier today and it isn't the first time. Previously, I used a usb stick to use the recovery tools and it worked although this time it did not.
I decided to try to run some other commands in the command prompt that recreated a bunch of boot files and my bios now shows me 5 booting options; 3 named windows boot manager (previously there was 1 which I would boot from normally) 1 that was just named after my SSD, and the usb plugged in. I tried a few other options but I kept running into errors such as this one and inaccessible boot device. Is there any other method? Am i able to just reinstall windows without losing anything?

Restart and try to access the Windows installation and see if it recognizes it as GPT since I knew it would fail if the boot partitions were created, but if it created the disk layout in GPT it will work.

Repeat the process with Gdisk and use the w command to do so, but remember that there is a risk that the conversion will fail and you will lose the files.
