Hi,
common boot 0xc000000f error inquiry
Hi,
My pc running windows 10 had the boot/startup error occur earlier today and it isn't the first time. Previously, I used a usb stick to use the recovery tools and it worked although this time it did not.
I decided to try to run some other commands in the command prompt that recreated a bunch of boot files and my bios now shows me 5 booting options; 3 named windows boot manager (previously there was 1 which I would boot from normally) 1 that was just named after my SSD, and the usb plugged in. I tried a few other options but I kept running into errors such as this one and inaccessible boot device. Is there any other method? Am i able to just reinstall windows without losing anything?
Thanks!

2025-03-02T23:30:38+00:00 Hi ,
Before following the procedure, access the BIOS and disable secure boot.
You are accessing WinRE, if possible access the command prompt and follow the procedure for command prompt:
Bootrec /Scanos
Bootrec /Rebuildbcd
Bootrec /Fixmbr
Bootrec /Fixboot
Take a picture after the commands and post it here.
Hope this helps.

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.
The boot drive has probably been corrupted and you can reinstall Windows and lose your files, but only the document type files and everything.
Can you boot from the USB flash drive so we can try to fix it??
