Tried many times to update WIn11 23H2 to 24H2. Gets to a certain point and rolls back. Error 0x1900101. Tried so many things online, but this seems to be a generic error and it does not help. No clue where to turn to fix it at this point. Can someone help?

Microsoft still have a block on some hardware configurations and PC's with some software installed for the 24H2 update, it may be best to wait a while to give them time to patch that update before trying to install it again.

All drivers are regularly updated. I have basically done this already. Why the hell won't the installation error generator be specific? I am lost. I'll go to the Dell page again, but I am sure it will not say anything needs to be updated.

Sometimes a driver (new or old) may misbehave and cause crashes.

Crashes can occur during routine use or during upgrades.

There will be more information in collected log files.
