Tried many times to update WIn11 23H2 to 24H2. Gets to a certain point and rolls back. Error 0x1900101. Tried so many things online, but this seems to be a generic error and it does not help. No clue where to turn to fix it at this point. Can someone help?

These were the three misbehaving drivers identified using the WDV tool:

    a) lhidfilt Logitech SetPoint KMDF HID Filter Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\lhidfilt.sys

    b) lmoufilt Logitech SetPoint KMDF Mouse Filter Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\lmoufilt.sys

    c) pxhlpa64 PxHlpa64 c:\windows\system32\drivers\pxhlpa64.sys

Earlier in the thread (03/30) lhidfilt.sys was identified as a WDV misbehaving driver.

If you didn't need or had alternative hardware all of the drivers could be uninstalled for the upgrade and reinstalled after a successful upgrade.

Download to a new desktop folder:

Download Official Windows 11 ISO file from Microsoft | Windows 11 Forum

    Download Windows 11

Find replacement drivers > uninstall and reinstall misbehaving drivers > create a new restore point > place the computer into clean boot > disconnect Ethernet and Wifi > detach or disconnect non-windows drives > upgrade using a desktop iso > perform updates after a successful upgrade

I searched the pxhlpa64.sys driver and found all kinds of inconsistencies with Windows 11. Some kind of Roxio driver. I do not really use the Roxio software so I can easily uninstall.
