Tried many times to update WIn11 23H2 to 24H2. Gets to a certain point and rolls back. Error 0x1900101. Tried so many things online, but this seems to be a generic error and it does not help. No clue where to turn to fix it at this point. Can someone help?

    1. System restore often results in the loss of the mini dump file.

Whenever possible recover from BSOD caused by WDV by booting into safe mode and running one or more of these commands:

    verifier /reset

    verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

    https://www.elevenforum.com/t/boot-to-advanced-startup-winre-in-windows-11.425/

    1. Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste: PowerShell $D=(New-Object -ComObject Wscript.Shell).SpecialFolders(4);Compress-Archive "%WinDir%\MEMORY.DMP" "$D\Memory_dmp" Post a share link using dropbox or google drive
    2. Please restart WDV with this customized test:

    [ ] 0x02000000 Code integrity checks.

Test each of these driver groups:

    Group a:

    veracrypt.sys

    Group b:

    iastorvd.sys

    pxhlpa64.sys

    dokan1.sys

    cbfs20.sys

    Group c:

    ibtusb.sys

    leqdusb.sys

    lhideqd.sys

    lhidfilt.sys

    lmoufilt.sys

    Group d:

    ipf_cpu.sys

    ipf_lf.sys

    googledrivefs31626.sys

    dbx.sys

    semav6msr64.sys

If there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

    verifier /querysettings

    Post a share link.

For any BSOD post a new V2 share link into the newest post.

Ok. In that case, proceed with the Driver Verifier steps posted by questions_.

Shall repost the fixlist later, if needed.

Veracrypt is not encrypting anything unless I manually open the one drive I have.

And this is extremely confusing to have two different ppl telling me what to do. I try to follow one - does it make sense to flip between ppl that are trying to help? It just confuses me as I am not an expert. I am still clueless as to what I am even doing except maybe trying to find a driver problem. I can't imagine how a normal person without the little background I have would be able to do this. MS Windows has really gone down the drain with this version as I have never had as many issues as I do now.
