I have this weird problem where browsing applications force close themselves? I have found a mini work around and that is to go and rename the exe file to something like "Chrome2.exe" or "Brave2.exe"

What is going on how do i fix it? Everytime i open these apps it just closes and i dont understand what to do? I have reset my computer, i have reinstalled all of these apps multiple times. Im very confused and would like some help, this only started happening recently so i dont know what was different between now and then.

The only browser that works fine on the laptop as of now is edge.

Please help!!!

Hi ,

Well, generally the block can be applied to everyone in the family in the configuration, which I think your parent has to check if in the Microsoft family system you are considered a minor, perhaps due to a date error.

He may also try to remove you or re-add you, you can correct the dates.

Check if the consent system is active.

1- To remove consent from a family member's account,

2- Visit family.microsoft.com and sign in to your Microsoft account.

3- Scroll down and select Manage my child's profile information.

4- Find your family member and select Remove consent for this child's account.

Unfortunately, you were right to distrust the Microsoft Family system because there was nothing preventing you from doing so other than being in the family system.

The last option is to contact your father's Microsoft support and inform them of the situation to see if there is any error.

This is not a Windows problem, but rather a problem with the Microsoft family system.

    Hi sir try to re iterate I know it’s not the family safety thing as I had throughout this year up until now. And i was usuing chrome up until the start of this thread. I have also talked with the owner of the family account to double check they don’t have restrictions on however as I said 1. I’m over 18 2. He double checked and made sure that’s not the case

    Hi ,

    Are you on a family system?

    If possible, I recommend that you do the ISO procedure explained here, but do not log in with your Microsoft account; use a local account.

    Select Download tool now, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.

    If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.

    On the What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC, and then select Next.

    The application will automatically identify the correct version of windows 10 for your system, from Next.

    Select which media you want to use ISO file. Save an ISO file to your PC

    Wait for the application to perform the iso download and after finishing the download it will close automatically.

    After downloading, find the Windows 10 ISO file on your PC, right-click and select “Mount”. If the option is not available, select “Open With” and “Windows Explorer”

    1. Run the “Setup” application, present inside the Windows 10 ISO, to start the installation on the PC.
    2. With the ISO files folder open, click on the “Setup” executable to continue installing Windows 10.
    3. After that, a Get Important Updates window will appear along with the two options Select: Not now
    4. Uncheck the box I want to help improve your Windows installation to skip sending unknown data to Microsoft about the installation process Next
    5. After that, a License Terms window will pop up, here you have to click on the Accept button.

    6.Now another “Choose what to keep” window or “Ready to install” window will pop up.

    At this point, you need to change some settings. Click the “Change what to keep” link

    1. You can now see the “Choose what to keep” window along with the three options given below:

    Nothing

    Then click on the Next button.

    Finally, the Ready to Install window will appear along with the Install button.

    In this step, you have to click on the Install button to start reinstalling Windows 10. During this process, your computer or laptop may restart sometimes.

    And just wait for the clean and fully automatic installation procedure.

    On the first run of the system, when it asks for the language or keyboard layout, do the following:

    • Use the keyboard shortcut Shift + F10. A Command Prompt window should show up.
    • Type and enter "oobe\bypassnro".
