Latest Update Turns My Screen Green [Dolby Vision]

So, since the latest update Dolby Vision seems to be now forced on for me. Even though it is not ticked in the settings, it still forces it. It turns everything on my screen green. Then if I go into the settings, I turn it on and back off it fixes it. However, when running certain games, it launches with Dolby Vision activated. It's really annoying. When I restart my PC, it kicks back on too and everything goes back green.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had the same problem as everyone, and this fixed it for me

It was initially meant for another issue, but works with this thread's issue too.

    LG C2 + 5080.

It removes the Dolby Vision profile from your drivers, as I understand. So it's okay to use if you don't care about it. I prefer that solution over the one recommended here, forcing to use a limited color range.

Setting the tv to 4.4.4 passthrough slightly helped for me, it still has no blue when i turn the PC on, but when i go into windows display settings to turn dolby video on and off again, it fixes it, (don't have to do anything or click anything in the display settings, just the act of opening the windows display settings gives me the blue back.

However if I alt tab out of a game that is using auto HDR back into a normal windows program it kills the blue channel again and I have to do switch on and off dolby vision as before.

I am seeing the exact same issue with Windows 11 on my end. Rebooting it resets the Dolby Vision mode to ON every time. Fix this ASAP please Microsoft. Everything is green and purple on boot every day.

I have the same issue. This wasn't a problem until a recent Windows Update. I spent hours troubleshooting HDMI cabling before finding posts like this.

Microsoft's Quality Assurance has gone by the wayside.

Putting my PC to sleep and waking it up seems to get around this. Every reboot turns on the setting despite it being unchecked.
