So, since the latest update Dolby Vision seems to be now forced on for me. Even though it is not ticked in the settings, it still forces it. It turns everything on my screen green. Then if I go into the settings, I turn it on and back off it fixes it. However, when running certain games, it launches with Dolby Vision activated. It's really annoying. When I restart my PC, it kicks back on too and everything goes back green.
Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah this is happening to me on the latest update too. Even though I have disabled Dolby Vision in settings, it is only a temporary fix as on the next restart everything is green/purple again and I have to go back into settings and turn Dolby Vision back on and then off again to fix it every time. Really annoying and needs to be addressed in a patch ASAP.
Yeah man, I mean I know its annoying... I have the same issue. Whenever I boot in it will wait until my official login (windows pic) loads to switch back to normal. Same goes for whenever my pc wakes... except then I have to physically go to "HDR Settings", the moment I click to go into that, it immediately fixes itself... my point here is... its not THAT big of a deal... I mean there ARE worse things. Dont get me wrong they have to patch this but, one would assume that they are aware of such and will fix this via next patch... if not... THEN we b*tch lol.
Since yesterday (19.06.25) I encountered the same issue on my Sony BRAVIA XR-65A95L.
My Setup:
This may be wrong, but could the issue be a "bad" HDMI Handshake happening on windows? I've read that an HDMI green screen can be caused by that in some forums!
Well I got my 55" G5 today, at first i thought it was suffering the same issue, however I discovered that i had to put the PC into " use Dolby vision mode" first and it would look like the pink/green puke but with an extra bit of F-you by the bottom third of the screen looking like the screen was physically damaged, but before I turned it off I went into the the LG settings and under "General>>External Devices>>HDMI settings there is a "Dolby Vision PC" switch, when I turned that on it worked as intended, I never checked the G2 for this setting in this location and Don't feel like hooking it back up.
And oh my word is jumping from a G2 to a G5 an epic upgrade!!!!
Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision PC must be functionally different and I now think we should treat them as such as it seems as though that is what is happening, I also now believe that older TV's even if they support dolby vision may never get this functionality, if it is just software/firmware then hopefully manufacturers like LG who say they will give 5 years of feature upgrades will roll this back to older TV's
But if it is TV hardware dependant I don't think there is much hope.
However Microsoft still needs to fix this random activation bug
I have the same issue. Windows 11, LG C2, RTX 3080. Please fix it Microsoft. Also Dolby vision starts automatically everytime i extend the screen so I have to turn it on and off to disable green tint. ffs
