Latest Update Turns My Screen Green [Dolby Vision]

If you run the Windows HDR calibration tool and save a custom Profile I believe the DV options should appear for you in the windows settings app

it should, the DV settings will not appear if the TV doesn't sense a DV signal

Can anyone with an LG C2 confirm if they have a TV setting under HDMI settings called Dolby Vision PC because I don't and LG support seem to think I should.

I have a 55" G2 that also is having the green/pink DV issue, I think what LG is talking about is that the menu changes based on the detected signal sent to the TV, as you can see in my pics when i turn on the windows DV setting the TV absolutely sees that it is a DV signal and the menu it displays for HDR changes.
However there are no settings even when DV is activated that correct the problem.

my TV is an LG-OLED55G2PUA with webOS24/9.2.1-261(firmware version 23.20.74)
GPU : Nvidia 3090FE
Club3D certified 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 1-meter cables.

I have another PC with an Asus ROG STRIX 4090-OC that also has this issue on this same TV.
Both PC's are connected to the TV through a Marantz Cinema-30 AVR surround sound system.
I have connected both PC's directly to the LG-G2 in all the HDMI ports with no change to the pink/green hue issue.
as well I have tried several different Nvidia Drivers with no fix.

I will be recieving my 55" LG-G5 on June 19th and I will report back if that also still has the issue, if it does then this is likely 100% on Microsoft.

Windows quality has been declining even faster since they started us AI generated code, the CEO even said that 20-30% of the code in thier repositories is AI generated and only growing.

I fully believe the issue of the pink/green hue with DV turned ON is in fact an out of spec DV signal that Windows has implemented.
The somewhat random activation of the pink/green hue when DV is turned OFF is a seperate but related bug in windows.

Does this issue happen on AMD GPUs? do AMD cards even have the desktop DV option in the latest windows update?

Same issue with an RTX 4090 and a 2024 Sony X95L TV. I went nuts trying to find a solution, until I realized it's the current broken implementation of Dolby Vision. Toggling off Dolby Vision in the Windows Display Settings fixed the issue and forced the display to use HDR10 instead.

This bug first presented like it was a lack of bandwidth on my HDMI connection (even though I'm using the full 48GPS ports and cable). Turning off HDR or switching to YCBCR444 color profile in the Nvidia Control Panel would fix it at first, but resulted in lower image quality.

Just when I thought MS finally solved the years long saga of broken/finicky HDR on PCs, they introduce yet another issue.

I went into my GPU settings and turned my RGB from FULL to Limited and that has resolved the issue. You could try that to see if it works for you.
