Latest Update Turns My Screen Green [Dolby Vision]

So, since the latest update Dolby Vision seems to be now forced on for me. Even though it is not ticked in the settings, it still forces it. It turns everything on my screen green. Then if I go into the settings, I turn it on and back off it fixes it. However, when running certain games, it launches with Dolby Vision activated. It's really annoying. When I restart my PC, it kicks back on too and everything goes back green.

Anyone else have this issue?

Microsoft confirms the error in the new Insider Preview:

Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.4230 (Beta Channel) (June 2, 2025)

    • *[NEW]*When connecting your PC to some older Dolby Vision displays, in some cases you might see severe discoloration. You can navigate to Settings > System > Display > HDR turn off “Use Dolby Vision mode” as a workaround to resolve the issue or disconnect the display.

    Same here.

    LG C2 OLED + RTX 4080

Screen turns green and pink. Have to enable and disable DV to back to normal.

Other option that I found is reduce the color range in NVIDIA Control panel from 'FULL' to 'LIMITED'.

Nvidia Control Panel -> Resolution -> 3. configurations ... -> Use NVIDIA Color Configuration -> Dynamic output: LIMITED.

It makes the video output not DV compliant, disabling it...

    RGB - 10bpp - Limited

LG C2 doesn't have Dolby vision PC mode in TV HDMI settings unlike the G2. Thats our main problem.

I am having this issue too. LG C2 OLED. Green and purple screen on boot. Have to turn Dolby Vision off and on again to get normal colors. If I have normal colors and I turn the display off and on again quickly, I keep the normal colors but if I turn it off for a while and on again, it goes back to purple and green and I have to toggle Dolby Vision off and on again to get the normal colors back.
