Why does my PC keep booting into the bluescreen and not let me leave

Mybad I was showing a picture of me trying to install a copy of windows onto my Thumb Drive and thats the error code it shows

Just to clarify, did you access the BIOS and change the boot priority to boot directly from the USB drive, or did you simply run the setup file while inside Windows? Because from the screenshot you shared, it looks like you ran the setup inside the Windows.

Make sure the bootable USB is already plugged in before powering on the PC.

Step 1: Access the Boot Menu or BIOS

Turn off your PC completely.

Turn it back on and immediately press the appropriate key repeatedly to enter the boot menu or BIOS:

Most common keys: F12, ESC, F10, or DEL

If you're not sure, look for a quick prompt when the logo appears (e.g., “Press F12 for Boot Options”).

Step 2: Select the USB Drive

If you get a Boot Menu, look for your USB listed by name (it may say "UEFI: [Your USB Name]") select that.

If you're taken into BIOS/UEFI instead, follow this:

Go to the Boot tab using your arrow keys.

Set your USB drive as the first boot device (it may show as “UEFI: USB” or just the USB brand name).

Save and Exit, usually by pressing F10 then Enter.

Step 3: Begin Setup

Once the system boots to the USB correctly, you should see:

A blue Windows Setup screen

Then the Install Now button

Super sorry for the really late reply I was very busy today. When I try to use the tool on my laptop it keeps popping up with this even after I restart my pc

The reason you're not seeing the “Install Now” option is because your USB is currently booting into recovery mode instead of the Windows Setup (installer) mode.

To perform a full repair install or clean install, you need to recreate your USB drive using the Media Creation Tool. Here's how:

On another working PC

Go to the official Microsoft site:

Click Download tool now under "Create Windows 10 installation media".

Run the tool and choose:

Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC

Language: English

Edition: Windows 10

Architecture: 64-bit (or match your system)

Insert a USB drive (8 GB or more) and let the tool create the bootable installer.

Once done, try booting again from the USB

Insert the new USB stick into your affected PC.

Boot into BIOS (usually DEL, ESC, or F2 when turning on the PC).

Make sure the USB drive is set to boot first under Boot Priority.

Save and exit BIOS.

“Press any key to boot from USB…”

Then, the blue Windows Setup screen

Then the Install Now button
