Windows Reset Queries

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

This may depends how fast your computer and the speed of your internet. Instead of Resetting your computer, you can perform Repair install, this will repair and replace any corrupted system files in your computer. This is the same as resetting your computer.

Step 1: Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.

Click “Download Tool Now”

Step 2: Run MediaCreationTool.exe.

Step 3: Choose "Upgrade this PC now".

Step 4: Select "Keep personal files and apps". or Remove Everything

Step 5: Let it install

If you choose to Keep your files and apps, those will be restored in your computer, if your choose to Remove everything all files and apps you installed will be wipe out.

Don't use your computer while on the process of repair install to prevent interruptions.

That's an awesome reply but I want to reset only,I don't want to do repair install, so will it work?

Thanks Carlo TJ, now I'll reset without any worries. Will my Defender start working properly again after resetting?
