Windows 11 No internet access but my internet is working fine

Hi, i updated my system running on windows 10 to windows 11, at first the internet worked fine for some days and then i got no internet message. Using chrome or Firefox i can connect to the internet without any a problem. it seems that only windows update, Microsoft store and some application can't connect to the internet. I reset my network, changed the DNS to (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4), changed the registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet

reinstalled the driver, and finally replaced the WIFI module but nothing seems to work, so can you please help me resolve the my problem

I've managed to get to the bottom of the problem on my Dell laptop.

I have tried everything mentioned in this post and nothing worked, but eventually, I plugged USB HUB which allowed me to plug Ethernet cable and connect straight to the router. This enabled internet connection straight away and I was able to INSTALL WINDOWS OPTIONAL UPDATES. One of those updates was my network card driver, which solved the issue.

OK, I had posted a few weeks back that I have had this issue... In desperation, I went and downloaded the latest drivers directly from Lenovo (they are dated June 22 of this year and specifically reference Windows 11 21H2 or later). I'd gone down this road early on with a previous version of the drivers to no avail, but - with these latest drivers - everything seems to work as expected. Struggling to understand where the real issue is. For grins and giggles, I installed Windows 11 on "unsupported hardware" using one of the many methods out there (it's an old Lenovo T430). The WiFi on that machine has worked flawlessly since the get-go under Windows 11. Definitely a head-scratcher.

[Moderator note: There is no mystery. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is how to keep the latest manufacturer's drivers current. Windows drivers are rarely enough. Once the manufacturer's drivers are updated this is solved for most people.]

    Good Day Oussama,

    My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

    Here's the steps you can try.

    -Go to Settings

    -Click System

    -Click Troubleshooter then Additional troubleshooter.

    -Look for Internet Connection and run the troubleshooter.

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Network Adapters

    -Look for the Wireless driver that was installed

    -Right click and Update

    -Look for "Browse my computer for driver

    -Let me pick drivers available drivers

    -Choose an old driver and use it.

    Reset Network Settings

    Open Settings.

    Click on Network & Internet.

    Click on Status.

    Under the "Change your network settings" section, click the Network reset option.

    Click the Reset now button.

    Click the Yes button.

    -Click Start, type CMD and run as administrator

    -Copy and paste each of the commands below and hit enter.

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh advfirewall reset

    netsh winsock reset

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    Once you entered all those commands restart your computer and try to connect.

    If issue persist, let's download the updated driver

    What is the exact model of your computer?

    To check the system model proceed with these steps.

    -Press Windows key + R

    -Type msinfo32 and hit enter.

    -Look for the System Model and manufacturer post it here.

    If you are using a custom built pc look for Baseboard version and Baseboard product and post it here.

    Hi Carlo T and nice to meet. I already tried all these solutions but with no success.

    I have a laptop ASUS TUF FA506IU Gaming A15, but I have a faulty Wi-Fi module, so I have replace it by a new one Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210.

    I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, please proceed with the steps below.

    Go to this link and download the driver.

    https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/GamingNB/Dri...

    Once downloaded, don't install it yet, save it in your desktop,

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Network Adapters

    -Look for the Wireless driver that was installed

    -Right click and Uninstall

    Once uninstalled, go now to your desktop and and install now the driver you just downloaded.
