Hi, i updated my system running on windows 10 to windows 11, at first the internet worked fine for some days and then i got no internet message. Using chrome or Firefox i can connect to the internet without any a problem. it seems that only windows update, Microsoft store and some application can't connect to the internet. I reset my network, changed the DNS to (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4), changed the registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet
reinstalled the driver, and finally replaced the WIFI module but nothing seems to work, so can you please help me resolve the my problem

I've managed to get to the bottom of the problem on my Dell laptop.
I have tried everything mentioned in this post and nothing worked, but eventually, I plugged USB HUB which allowed me to plug Ethernet cable and connect straight to the router. This enabled internet connection straight away and I was able to INSTALL WINDOWS OPTIONAL UPDATES. One of those updates was my network card driver, which solved the issue.

OK, I had posted a few weeks back that I have had this issue... In desperation, I went and downloaded the latest drivers directly from Lenovo (they are dated June 22 of this year and specifically reference Windows 11 21H2 or later). I'd gone down this road early on with a previous version of the drivers to no avail, but - with these latest drivers - everything seems to work as expected. Struggling to understand where the real issue is. For grins and giggles, I installed Windows 11 on "unsupported hardware" using one of the many methods out there (it's an old Lenovo T430). The WiFi on that machine has worked flawlessly since the get-go under Windows 11. Definitely a head-scratcher.
[Moderator note: There is no mystery. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is how to keep the latest manufacturer's drivers current. Windows drivers are rarely enough. Once the manufacturer's drivers are updated this is solved for most people.]

I had the same issue crop in two days ago, on a one year old Dell desktop PC. Super frustrating. It is basically an issue of Microsoft thinking you are not connected to wifi when you actually are. Some kind of software bug.
After reading multiple posts on this I was quite hesitant to go thru all of the deleting drivers/adapters, re-installing them etc. It feels like it would take days and I could make things worse.
I did find one post that suggested it was their wifi network adapter. Mine is something from Intel.
So I decided to buy the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 USB Wifi Adapter. I bought it on Amazon for $64. It is basically a device you plug into a USB port. Once you install it, you PC thinks THAT is your wifi network. The new device connects to your wifi network, your PC connects to the device.
Installation was pretty easy. Put in the CD and follow the prompts to install their software (or you can goto Netgear website to install their software if you don't have a CD drive).
As part of the installtion process you plug in the device into the USB port. Then connect it to your wifi. BOOM. Connected to wifi. Opened up Outlook. It connected almost immediately. Open up One drive. Also connected finally.
Problem Solved. $64.

PS. Most people buy these devices to increase speed. Anecdotally, mine does seem faster. So that is "double prizes".

Windows 11 does not recognize my Internet connection.
Sorry to necro an older thread, but this is a constant ongoing problem for a large number of people who had Windows 10 & 11 force fed to them by Microsoft....
For being the number 1 computer software company on Earth, they sure do seem to keep screwing up their operating systems. It seems that every time the 'geniuses' at Microsoft decide to squeeze out a new Windows version, they end up taking it out of the stove WAY before it is done, and thrusting down people's throats, with pretty severe issues that make no sense.
Now they cannot seem to figure out how WiFi internet works, and it is ridiculous. I have to admit, it is unbearably frustrating to have to keep dealing with Microsoft's inability to maintain stable drivers.
I actually left Windows for a few years there, after they destroyed Windows XP, with that tragedy that was Vista, and was using 2 MacBook Pro laptops for the past few years. Well, my computer at work was still running Windows 7, which was at least somewhat stable before they came along and blindsided their customers with 8. I remember when Windows operating system was something amazing that made home computing a reality, but that was DECADES ago, back when Microsoft still had tech savvy software designers. It is no wonder Gates wanted to sell off his stock, as the company has been plummeting since the early 90s. In any case, I recently purchased a Dell laptop, that has Windows 11 on it, mainly because Apple products are SO overpriced, ($3400 for a laptop is crazy) and now I am back dealing with the utter incompetence that is Microsoft Windows again.
