Also just occurred today March 31st 2022.
I had a crash, restored my Brave browser, was checking on some documents. Then I opened Chrome with one tab and it was immediately crashing Chrome every few seconds. Then went back to Brave and it was chugging too. Opened task manager and it didn't have enough memory to show everything, so I quite Brave and Chrome, reopened task manager and 98% of my 32 gigs of ram was in use. Searched for the culprit and it was Feeds/ Search Application. Immediately assumed it was a virus or crypto mining malware and killed it.
Turns out it's some feature of Microsoft's operating system I can't turn off. That's a bummer because any program that does that gets uninstalled immediately... -_-
