Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

    Also just occurred today March 31st 2022.
    I had a crash, restored my Brave browser, was checking on some documents. Then I opened Chrome with one tab and it was immediately crashing Chrome every few seconds. Then went back to Brave and it was chugging too. Opened task manager and it didn't have enough memory to show everything, so I quite Brave and Chrome, reopened task manager and 98% of my 32 gigs of ram was in use. Searched for the culprit and it was Feeds/ Search Application. Immediately assumed it was a virus or crypto mining malware and killed it.

    Turns out it's some feature of Microsoft's operating system I can't turn off. That's a bummer because any program that does that gets uninstalled immediately... -_-

    Same issue here 30GB of my 32GB used up by feeds.

    Turned off news and interests in the task bar and end tasked feeds which is working for now, but this should not be happening in the first place.

    Hi, I've just had this issue this morning and I also disabled 'News and interests' feed from taskbar, hopefully doesn't happen again.

    Happened to me for the first time today. 32 out of 32Gb of RAM taken while watching youtube... Video stoped with error code "out of memory", so i checked task manager and saw feeds eating about 28GB of RAM so i forced the task to stop.

    Windows 10 Pro / 21H1 / 19043.1586 / Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

    Happened to me today while I was using Chrome and Discord. I noticed something was wrong when everything kept crashing and then saw that Feeds was consuming so much RAM. I've never used all 32 GB of my ram before and this is new. As I'm writing this, my computer has been on for 32 minutes. I built this computer last June and the parts are all new.

    Specs:

    Windows 10 Education

    AMD CPU 5900x

    32 GB RAM

    Samsung SSD 980 PRO 500 GB as my C: drive (with my system on this one)

    Samsung SSD 860 EVO M.2 1 TB as my D: drive

    NVIDIA RTX 3090 (I have the latest Geforce Game Ready Driver Installed - Version 512.15)
