Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

    I am having this exact issue as well and had to kill whatever it was doing in the background cause it just bricks anything I try to use on my computer. Glad I found this thread, thought it was weird.

    Specs:

    Intel i5-7200U @ 2.50GHz

    8 GB RAM

    SSD Drive

    It was maxing out my RAM and SSD to 100%

    I don't know if it's been said in this whole thread before or not, but I just encountered the Feeds: Search Application eating up to 80% of my ram, so I killed the process, assuming it was some rogue windows app, and killing the process caused a battle.net update that was happening to error with a process terminated message. Not sure why a battle.net update would cause feeds to trigger some wild memory leak.

    i just started to experience this issue, and just ended the process in my task manager before it got out of hand. My computer is was recently self built.

    Specs:

    gigabyte aorus elite ax z590

    Intel i7 10700k

    32gb corsair vengence 3200mhz

    64 bit Windows 10 pro

    NVIDIA 2070 super (grabbed from old Alienware R8 computer)

    seagate barracuda 510 1TB nvme

    corsair rmx 850 gold PSU

    Just happened here, while browsing YouTube in Chrome and suddenly nothing worked anymore. Went to the Task Manager to see Feeds eating 12GB of RAM for no reason and it was still rising when I killed it. I have this PC for almost 5 years now and it's the first time I've ever seen it get significantly slower.

    Specs:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Intel Core i7-7700

    16GB RAM

    128GB SSD + 1TB HD
    Nvidia GTX 1070 (standard drivers installed)

    Likewise, just happened for the first time ever. I was playing a 1080p youtube video, had Steam running and the momment i opened two Word files together my memory usage jumped to 99%, even to the point og using the main SSD drive space as virtual memory. Only a restart fixed the problem. Also i noticed that the process which caused this was named "Fuentes"; because my Windows is in Spanish, I checked that indeed the process is "SearchApp.exe", the one that caused the memory leak.

    Specs:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Intel Core i7-7700K

    32GB RAM

    256GB SSD System

    2TB HDD + 2TB HDD + 1TB SSD
    Nvidia GTX 1080 (DCH 511.79 drivers installed)
