I have had the same thing happen to me, three times this week. I just disabled the feed. Too bad. I kind of liked it.
Feeds / Search application using all of the ram
I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.
Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?
Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.
Looking into events now.

Well after looking at this thread, I got such a relief!
This has become an everyday issue for me. Even after upgrading my RAM and SSD it started again after a few months. I am not sure why. I tried scanning my system with different anti-virus even did the disc clean up but haven't figured it out yet.
My main tasks are web research for some specific topics assigned. Once I have multiple tabs opened, the issue seems to show up.

2022-03-19T04:51:47+00:00 I had the exact same issue the morning after i installed a windows update.
Running scans on my computer now but i haven't needed to installed anything on this computer for quite a while.
AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU, my drivers are standard and haven't been changed since before the windows update.
I hope this information proves useful.

2022-03-19T10:18:02+00:00 Just happened to me also. Nothing further to add as I'm not posting specs or anything, since this issue is clearly an old one and should have all the necessary reported statistics.
If it happens again, I'll be disabling/uninstalling all feeds features and dependencies.
