Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

    Experienced the same issue today. Booted my system up and went to open a browser before it began to stutter. It was using spiking RAM usage to 97%. I was able to kill the task and disable the news feed from the taskbar.

    AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
    32GB RAM
    Nvidia 3080Ti (ver 51.79 drivers)
    OS 19043.1586

    Version 21H1

    I just had this problem happen to me right now. I'm running a very similar build but my GPU is Asus ROG STRIX 3090. My OS is a newer version too 19044.1526. I was just browsing on Chrome when everything started to lag out so I checked task manager and noticed that search was using all my ram.

    I just had this happen today. Was working in OBS when all of a sudden my entire system was lagging. At first I thought it was some weird OBS issue until I checked, but to my surprise it was actually Feeds using a staggering 90 gigs of ram (I have 128 gigs). I killed that process and all went back to normal. I have a 5950x, and a 2080 Ti.

    I've run into the same issue. It was using over 20GB of my ram and 40% of my CPU. Ending the process fixed me.

    same issue was using 30 gb of ram and 60% cpu ryzen 9 5900x with rtx 3060 and 32gb ram 4000mhz g.skill

    Adding another "me too" here. Despite not hitting the CPU hard in task manager it was making the machine nearly too hot to touch and fan at 100%. Maybe the thermals was just due to the all writing to the swap space
