Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

I had the same issue with feeds, I killed the process and restarted my PC and that seemed to help probably a bug from a prior update hopefully they get it fixed soon!

Yes, this stops the problem of course. It's a pity because I actually use this feature frequently.

Did you try turning off the News and Interests?

    Thanks.

Anyone affected WITHOUT Nvidia graphics here? Not blaming Nvidia (I have Nvidia too and do not expereience this issue), just looking for anything in common.

Yes, older laptop with Intel HD Graphics. News and Interest feed starts to leak memory on Hover Over or click and never fully loads. This problem started with Search app randomly crashing, then developing into full memory leak and unintended system shutdown over the past week or so. Have to manually End Task and suspend News and Interests on the Task Bar to prevent recurrence. Not ideal, as I use this feature frequently.

Even after applying KB5010415 the problem persists... My HP laptop on the January 2022 Cumulative update preview build does not have this issue.
