I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

I faced the same issue today, the Feeds Process Was burning almost all the Ram Memory Available that it crashed all the programs running at that time.

Got this issue this morning. It happened right after I hit the windows key and typed to search for an application to open it. Feeds instantly started using 31GB of my RAM. Opening task manager and ending it fixed it for now. I always hit windows and type for the application I'm looking for then hit enter to open so if this was happening before I would have noticed it. The only change I have made to my PC today is installing the Security Intelligence Update you see below on the 2/20/2022. Not sure if there is correlation between my actions/the security update and the feeds memory leak issue, but that is the ONLY thing on my PC that has changed since I have gotten this issue.

Does anyone else have events in the event viewer that looks like it updated the search app? (around 4 hours ago)

I have bunch of MsiInstaller, ESENT and Search sources that did something with the searchindexer and Search Service.

Also my news tab is in a language that I don't recognize...
