Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

I updated my windows after not wanting to update for a few weeks, and now I'm having this same issue, it's clearly the update, don't peg it on something else, (as I've checked this thread) Yeah maybe other software may be a part of it, but if it worked before, you can fix it to work just fine after as I've not changed any of the applications on my PC, only updated. I'd suggest rolling out a new update, because this one clearly doesn't work well with all PC Builds.

Just happened to me also. Nothing further to add as I'm not posting specs or anything, since this issue is clearly an old one and should have all the necessary reported statistics.

If it happens again, I'll be disabling/uninstalling all feeds features and dependencies.

I had the exact same issue the morning after i installed a windows update.

Running scans on my computer now but i haven't needed to installed anything on this computer for quite a while.

AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU, my drivers are standard and haven't been changed since before the windows update.

I hope this information proves useful.
