I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

secondly, to be specific to your question, system32 contains all the windows system files. when you open taskbar and right click on a process or service, you can "open file location" which led me to the feeds exe in system 32. as for registry, run regedit and open the find function and type "feeds". delete, then find next, then delete etc. but as i said it was all reinstalled by windows upon a sequencial update.

ended up being reinstalled by windows. any update, windows tries to reinstall things like edge and feeds etc.

fixed it by simply disabling feeds via the taskbar icon.
