Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

FEEDS process is part of the News and Interests function. Right click taskbar, highlight News and Interests, select Turn Off

What you are saying is a workaround, not a fix. some people wish to use these features without it breaking their machine.

you are also saying something that has been said before and spamming it to nearly everyone, its really not helpful

Same for me. This is really irritating. Microsoft, please fix this.

i have 32gb of ram and a brand new ryzen 7, windows was installed on this PC somewhat recently and there are no programs that should affect the system in any meaningful way. the random ram usage spiked during a video game and had no slight increase over time.
