win 11 does not auto login did 2days ago no problem, all updated about same time, have tried all the suggestions, netplwiz, regitedit mods the lot, double check pc name in domain, workgroup,

as the only person on this pc was happy when it auto log on  my laptop updated and auto log on no problems  if i set netplwiz and uncheck users must enter password  and put password in when i restart login screen come up with 2 accounts 1 with no picture as says password incorrect and the other (correct Accout) if i put pin into correct account all ok whats going on microsoft

    I dug up a bunch of fixes earlier today for duplicate ghost listings on log-in screen. Did you try all of them? I've seen those fix this issue in Windows 10 for years.

    I'm shutting down for the night. I've been at this 14 hours.

    well well set up local account as you said, worked

    but does not work with my MS account think it must be as you said an update

    thanks Greg no i dont give up my name is mike we will solve this think we are on the cusp been around pc since the DOS days and gem you will probbily have to look up gem the first windows
