win 11 does not auto login did 2days ago no problem, all updated about same time, have tried all the suggestions, netplwiz, regitedit mods the lot, double check pc name in domain, workgroup,

as the only person on this pc was happy when it auto log on  my laptop updated and auto log on no problems  if i set netplwiz and uncheck users must enter password  and put password in when i restart login screen come up with 2 accounts 1 with no picture as says password incorrect and the other (correct Accout) if i put pin into correct account all ok whats going on microsoft

    Again, Features of Windows include Store, Xbox, games, OneDrive, Mail, etc. You can sign into them separately if unable to use a MS Account which signs into them all at once.

    yes that works, dont know what you mean and let you sign into needed features with your MS Account satisfactorily?

    to sign in with local account i will have to reload programs again

    unless you mean to copy user details from folder to user account

    I understand. But what if you change to a Local Account in Settings > Accounts > Your Info > Sign in with a Local Account Instead. Will that alone remove the ghost listing, make Netplwiz work right and let you sign into needed features with your MS Account satisfactorily?

    The reason I ask is this will save you needing to reinstall Windows with a Local Account.

    Are you on a Local Account now? Try changing, restart and check for ghost account, PIN and Netplwiz issues

    no on MS account have not set netplwiz

    local account works ok no problems restart auto ok no ghost account it is only the MS account
