win 11 does not auto login did 2days ago no problem, all updated about same time, have tried all the suggestions, netplwiz, regitedit mods the lot, double check pc name in domain, workgroup,

as the only person on this pc was happy when it auto log on  my laptop updated and auto log on no problems  if i set netplwiz and uncheck users must enter password  and put password in when i restart login screen come up with 2 accounts 1 with no picture as says password incorrect and the other (correct Accout) if i put pin into correct account all ok whats going on microsoft

    thanks for your patience Greg going to take a few hrs to clean and reinstall will let you know one way or another

    have 3 drives on the machine M.2, ssd drive and 2 hdd spanned into 1 i disconnect the ssd and hdd just use the M.2 for the win 11 OS that i format down to unallocated space and instal on that keep u posted

    Create the bootable Media Creation Tool following the steps under the section "Create Windows 11 Installation Media" by expanding the + sign next to Before you start link:

    Back up your files first, remember during the booted install to delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space, then click Next to auto-create and -format the needed partitions and begin - this makes it foolproof.

    After install expedite Windows Updates until no more are offered, then import drivers from the manufacturer's Support Downloads web page for your exact model. While there make sure that you also have the latest chipset, BIOS, display, network, bluetooth, USB and all other drivers, compared to the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button.

    no not working

    have found the active folder

    going to activate hidden admin and delete the lot going to format the windows drive and reinstall using my MS account should that work ?????

    Did you convert the local account which worked to this MS Account and does it work now?

    To determine which of those User folders is your present account's User folder, place a new file on the desktop, then open each User account's Desktop folder to see which one it shows up in. That's your present account.

    Is it working OK now? It should be if it' the same Local Account you said worked OK, which you then converted to the MS Account. But check it to be sure.
