Ethernet keeps disconnecting

The way I fixed it was by rolling back to a previous version of my Realtek network adapter driver.
Here's my driver:

The version that caused this issue for me was:

1153.6.418.2022 (there could be other versions that are having this same issue)

Dated: 4/19/2022

The version I rolled back to which fixed the problem for me was:
10.38.117.2020
Dated: 9/26/2015

Could be other newer versions that fix the problem but this worked for me and I've already wasted to much time trying to troubleshoot it.

I'm having the exact same issue on a brand new Lenovo (less than a week old) that came preinstalled with Windows 11 pro. I keep getting booted out of Zoom meetings because the Ethernet connection suddenly drops without warning.

I've done all the steps suggested but I haven't gone so far as a clean install of Windows 11 since, as I said, this is a brand new computer. Is this a glitch in Windows 11 Pro that has yet to be addressed? Any other steps I might take to fix this issue?

I have the same issue on my Dell XPS 15 laptop (which worked normally for many months after I set it up). I've ruled out all hardware culprits (Dell even swapped in a new motherboard). I've done every last suggestion in this post and all other tutorials I've found about Ethernet disconnects and "default gateway not available" errors (including a repair install of Windows 11 Pro). My wi-fi connection is fine, but all of a sudden after six months, my laptop cannot maintain a stable Ethernet connection. It disconnects after a few minutes. Sometimes it spontaneously reconnects for a little while before disconnecting yet again. If I remove the Ethernet cable and reconnect it, that will usually restore the connection for a short time. The problem happens whether IPV4 is enabled, IPV6, or both. The only option I have not tried is the nuclear one: a clean reinstall of W11.

Apologies if the suggested methods didn't work for you.

Since the issue persist, kindly perform a repair install of your Windows which fixes the broken system files on your machine.

1. Download the media creation tool here: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win... (click on "Download tool now") and wait for the download to finish
2. Temporarily disable your firewall/antivirus, then open the tool and select the option "Upgrade this PC now".
3. Wait until your machine goes to the process of repair install. There should be no worries in performing it since you will select the option to keep your files during the process.

I followed both steps, the only issue I came across was "netsh int reset all" could not be executed as the command could not be found, but everything else went smoothly.

On the clean boot, the ethernet was connected, but after another restart is suddenly disconnected again. I've just plugged the cable into a different port on my router but nothing has changed. Even after the network reset, I'm still stuck on WiFi.

Any other tips??
