How to adjust Bass and Treble in Windows 11?

Enable Audio Enhancemnets --> Microsoft doing the job for you, again.

My case is that the speaker had significant bass loaded, very unusual and asking to be changed. To actually research this topic, ending up with this solution given here stole my time and is rather a matter of luck since this setting is way to deep down for any normal user. The EAE switch off immediately removed the issue of bad sound.

Once over, Microsoft is doing things in Windows 11 that NOBODY asked for. I have an extremely bad experience from Windows 10 to 11, in fact only with "matured" Windows 11. The very first months were all right. I know the OS since over 30 years.

I solved the problem by downloading voice meter to my system it has the ability to alter treble + base by reducing or increasing ether and it is free to download and use.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to System > Sound.
3. Scroll down and click on More sound settings.
4. In the Sound settings window, select the Playback tab.
5. Right-click on your audio device and select Properties.
6. Go to the Enhancements tab.
7. Deselect the "Disable all enhancements" checkbox (if it is already selected).
8. Select the Bass Boost checkbox.
9. If you want to change the frequency and boost level of Bass, click on the Settings button on the bottom right side.
10. When you are done, click Apply and then click OK.

Same problem here. Deaf in one ear, barely hear out of the other. Very frustrating and seems it would be an accessibility issue that MS dropped the ball on. HELLO Microsoft, there are hearing impaired users that NEED to be able to adjust bass down and treble up (in most cases) to be able to understand what is being said!
