Hi this post is to help people with windows 10 and 11 windows security not working

On windows 11 do this

  1. launch powershell as an admin
  2. Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
  3. Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  4. Set-ExecutionPolicy restricted

IGNORE THE ERRORS

on windows 10 do this

  1. launch powershell as an admin}
  2. run get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
  3. if it doesn't work do this
    4) run Add-AppxPackage -Register -DisableDevelopmentMode "C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppXManifest.xml"
  4. run get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage

    has only

    assets
    pris

    so power shell sends path is not correct
    what can i do

    Same issue. Had to back everything up to cloud, create a new iso, reinstall Win 11 to fix it. Its the only way. Sorry. :(

    I like Windows 11, I just want it to work.

    For anyone who, like me, was concerned that running this threw a bunch of errors because things like "Windows.BingWeather" have to be turned off, you can safely ignore them - this fix worked despite those.

    AMAZING!

    I was a bit sceptical about doing this since i dont know nothing about this and dont realy like to use command prompt or, in this case, powershell, but everithing went fine.
