I cannot create a minecraft java profile name

I purchased the Xbox gaming service today.

The game asked me to set up an profile, but when I click the "that's me" button, there is no respone.

Please help. Thanks.

    I found a solution! For me I tried everything like logging in and out while reading different articles. The solution that worked for me was to go to the Minecraft website, and where you go to "My games" You should see Minecraft Java, Bedrock, and Dungeons. For me there was a pop-up that says, "Change Skin" or "Profile name" under Minecraft Java. Now if you make a profile name and restart the launcher, you should be able to get in.

    How would I go about doing this on my phone browser, you have to set it up through the Minecraft launcher.

    Just log in with your microsoft account on minecraft.net. Click my games and it should give you an option to click minecraft change username. There you change it or just type it same again. Hopefuly that solve your problem.
