Hello.
I was wondering, is there any way to completely get rid of the microphone icon on the system tray without including adding it onto the "Show hidden icons"?
It's really annoying having that.

If Voicemeeter or Shadowplay is recording 24/7, then take it to them --- it's their problem, not Microsoft's problem.

I care so much about how my tray looks that I made my own icons for Voicemeeter and Razer Synapse so they match the white ones.
Win11 would be perfect for me if I could get rid of that mic icon and the 'Recommended' space in the start menu.

The fact that you used the phrase "hack this thing out" meant that you agreed with me that Microsoft is NEVER going to fix this non-problem or else you would be saying that you are "waiting" for Microsoft to fix it.

Wow, you made a custom white icon for Razer synapse? can I replace all icons that way, I hate that my steam and blizzard app icons have colors :)
PS. Eagerly waiting for someone to post a solution/program that allows you to hide it, I hate this blue icon. I'm using the Elgato wave link like many other people here (or any other program) and we want the mic to work but to get rid of any unnecessary icon within the tray!
