Laptop Becomes unusable when unplugged

Hey , I laptop becomes so slow(almost unusable when not puggled in to charger). It is happening from tomorrow when I installed GIMP , VLC , 7 Zip, Paint 3D , 3D viewer , bitdefender parental control simultaneously on my pc , I am not sure that it is happening from the installation only . As when plugged in I am not noticing any drop in the performance of my pc . Only in taskmanager I haven't found any process running from these apps except the bitdefender parental control . Also I noted from taskmanager when plugged in my cpu is normally(without any heavy process running in backround) working at a clock speed of3.60 GHz but when not plugged in its speed is about 0.59 GHz

Close Control Panel

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

On the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'

Paste this command into Command prompt and press Enter:

powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

When that command completes, close Command prompt and restart (not shut down) your PC.

    Boot your laptop into BIOS, then look for an option 'Enable Turbo Boost on DC'

    I think that is in the System Options settings page in BIOS, turn that option on

    Save that setting and restart your laptop.

    In HP PC bios advanced settings are locked and can't be changed in any way

    If you have not set a BIOS password, you should be able to access all areas of BIOS

    No , they still hide most of the advanced settings(only basic and normal settings are displayed and can be changed) in bios (only requires a trusted key to unhide them which only hp service center person can do) .They say that it done to avoid messing up with advanced settings that can destroy device completely
