KB5005033 August 2021 cumulative update

So after the download, My computer restarted and was stuck in the Windows Recovery Environment as if I hit Shift-restart, but I didn’t. I finally got out of it and it will not allow me to log in with my Pin. When I try I get “ your credentials could not be verified” then this pops up “something went wrong and your pin isn’t available (status 0xc000006d, substatus: 0xc0070016). Click to set up pin”. I click it and nothing happens. I’ve attempted to log in with Safe Mode and the screen flashes black and I can’t do anything. Every option in the Recovery Environment fails……..Help

Beside the fact that the games I have stopped working after the update, I have a problem with watching videos on Youtube, because I have to double click every time to hide the task bar, which is really annoying. I didn't have these problems before the update.

For anyone thats having issues with alt tabbing to fullscreen/borderless windowed games or applications try this. Right click the taskbar --> News and interests --> Turn Off. Changing this setting disables the weather widget (it is only visible if your taskbar is on the bottom of the screen) but fixes the alt tab functionality (or at least it did for me).

Given some of the issues myself and others are reporting with the update, maybe it's a blessing that this update is not installing for you. However if you do want to install it, you can try downloading the standalone MSU package from the Microsoft Update Catalogue which was linked from the update description page.
