Steam games using unreal engine 4 or MT framework crash on startup and I believe it has to do with windows updates.
I reset windows earlier and my steam games worked, restarted pc and they started crashing on startup again. Tried resetting again and they just crash. Is there anything I can do to stop these from crashing? Anyway to not have windows update when I reset it?

If you meant keep Windows from updating, I think the best you can do is:
Nope, you aren't the only one, I had to uninstall the update for me to ALT TAB well without the screen having a seizure. So try uninstalling the new update and just stay on the old update until they figure something out!
Single click on QUICK LAUNCH TOOLBAR stopped working after 2021-07 & or 2021-08 updates.
Hope this gets fixed!
Ugh, I totally misread that section thinking that would remove only the LCU and not the SSU.
However, I tried running the DISM /online /Remove-Package as instructed, but I get an error saying the Permanent package cannot be uninstalled in the logs. I'm using the PackageName options as I don't know the path to the CAB file. Would that make a difference? Is there a CAB file somewhere?
