KB5005033 August 2021 cumulative update

After the Windows 10 update this morning, my HDMI stopped working. I uninstalled today's update, tried the prior edition of Intel HD 5500 driver and at this point display on the screen the icons in the taskbar at the bottom of the page but nothing from the screen. I can transmit sound through the HDMI link.

What else can I do?

Many are facing several issues after KB5005033 update. The update stops during install at 20%, then fails.

I don't have Adobe Flash Player so I just stopped and rolled back.

My laptop is having startup issues ever since the update happened and I can fix it

Not at all. Thanks for all your help. I certainly learned some new things about these updates. Looks like they push these every month so hopefully they will fix it soon. If not I'll have to see what my other options are. Maybe a Windows reinstall.

2021-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems (KB5005033) for me its freezing my pc up trying to install it for days now my disk is pegged at 100% usage in task manager performance tab but only 20% in the process tab, i also noticed that in process tab defender and this windows module installer worker are at the top of disk used constantly going from high to very high in the red as if they are fighting another to get it installed or something.

it took a whole day to get 100 % downloaded, another day to get to 100% installed, but it never finished and now its back at 21% installing, not sure what to do here.
