An administrator has restricted sign in.To sign in make sure your device is connected to the internet and have your administrator sign in first

My name is Ed and I'm just a user who had the same problem. However my problem was that I wasn't using the exact same PIN. When that dawned on me, I was able to enter the correct PIN and I'm in like Flynn.

During my search for a solution I read that after you enter the correct PIN and get a screen asking you to login, you should press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot rather than enter anything. I hope that works for you.

Thanks for the reply Dave, it’s asking pin which I usually use to login to my laptop, but after entering the correct pin asking for administrator sign in. Does changing the password works ? Microsoft care person asking to boot the system with bootable per drive.. it’s quite surprising as I could not log in to my laptop.

Sorry, I was offline, usually if you lock your device remotely, signing in with your Microsoft Account details would unlock the device, though some people report this is not successful, try changing the password on your Microsoft Account, then wait a while and then try to unlock the PC.
