Microsoft lock is not a good option unless you’re ready to lose all your data. Once you retrieve your laptop they have no unlock option it’s pretty much self destruct button.. Microsoft, get your software together you’re making Apple look better than you sometimes people leave their devices places, unintentionally and want to make sure it’s not tampered with so they’d like to put a temporary remote lock.

Sorry, I was offline, usually if you lock your device remotely, signing in with your Microsoft Account details would unlock the device, though some people report this is not successful, try changing the password on your Microsoft Account, then wait a while and then try to unlock the PC.
