My name is Ed and I'm just a user who had the same problem. However my problem was that I wasn't using the exact same PIN. When that dawned on me, I was able to enter the correct PIN and I'm in like Flynn.

During my search for a solution I read that after you enter the correct PIN and get a screen asking you to login, you should press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot rather than enter anything. I hope that works for you.

hopeless, I ended up reinstalling the machine.

You could try to install the system in another machine, connect with your account, change pin and try new pin in the original machine you have problem with (not tested)

Or you can create a new profile in your machine, and do the same. You should create a new profile using utilman.exe and do the same.

You still need a win bootable usb and then change: net user **<**USERNAME> <PASSWORD>.

This way you can launch a command prompt instead of accessibility controls at the login. (not tested)

In the end o have reinstalled Windows. Using same Password og Microsoft account and same pin as before. Its. A shame there is no solutions for this
