Hi, I am experiencing this problem too but have noticed that all information available online about this is not very helpful. I have been using the website downloaded version of the Roblox player for quite a while now and that has worked perfectly fine up until very recently, I have been unable to join any game on Roblox with the following error: Lost connection due to an error. (Error Code: 272), I have attempted to find a fix to this but have had to resort to using the Roblox Microsoft store app.

After switching to the Microsoft store app I began experiencing the issue causing my mouse to go off my screen and onto my second monitor or moving around my primary monitor, I have spent a while researching solutions to this and all of them have been generic answers such as: "Update driver", "Reinstall(/reset) Roblox" and the only sensible one was "Switch to the browser installed Roblox player". I cannot use the Roblox player and all the other solutions didn't work.

At the exact same time my Roblox player updated causing me to switch to the Roblox app, my Roblox studio also stopped working with the following error: "An error occurred while starting Roblox Studio Details: Failed to deploy to C:\Program Files(x86)\Roblox\Versions\version-(Followed by a bunch of characters)\RobloxStudioLauncherBeta.exe", If I open that RobloxStudioLauncherBeta.exe manually by going to the file path that it is stored at, I can open it and although I haven't tested it, this makes me suspect I could also manually open the Roblox player directly from the file path to maybe fix the problem but this is very unlikely as the problem related to the Roblox player doesn't occur on launch but instead when joining a game.

To summarize that last paragraph, Roblox studio won't open with the desktop shortcut but going to its stored file path I could open it, the Roblox player bug I was experiencing has to be related to connection with the servers (unexpected/odd packets being sent/received) due to it not occurring at startup or in the menu (while in the Roblox player menu, 3D rendering still occurs in the background, meaning it also isn't a rendering issue)

The same thing happened to me too. My current solution is to download it from website instead of Microsoft store. But if you have GeForce experience and you download roblox from the website, the GeForce experience won't detect it.
