Can someone give a detailed explanation of what exactly we can and can't write in the MSN comments? Totally innocuous and inoffensive replies are frequently denied by the automoderation because "This comment does not meet community guidelines", and you are given no clue as to what specifically was wrong. I had to give up replying to one person because no matter what I tried it just wouldn't let me do it.

It's definitely done by a bot. "Negative" words of all kinds are banned. The word "you" is banned as it might be used to start an accusation. T A very large number of words are banned.

The words sexism, misogynist, rape and sexual assault are all banned. Does Microsoft want to silence women's issues completely or what. This is disgusting., This is a reason to NEVER use Microsoft Edge or Bing ever again it's grotesque and the only reason I am here is that I got an email about more posts in this thread.

I have been having comments rejected lately for no stated reason. I have said things like the article is inaccurate, worthless, poorly written, or poorly edited. Apparently that is not allowed. Suspect everything is done by a bot.

The government aren't allowed to ban you from expressing opinions on the government, but private companies are allowed to forbit you to use their platform for it. However your comment wasn't reviewed because Microsoft got pissed that you don't want money sent to help all the people being killed in the Ukraine. They just have a bot that decided one of the words you used might cause impassioned discussion. They have banned all sorts of words.
