Logitech Camera Can't Install

Hi, I purchased a Microsoft Surface Laptop 4, and can't install either of my Logitech Webcams.  When I plug in the C910, it installs with an Exclamation point next to it.  When I plug in another one, it comes up with installing the Webcam Pro 9000 and the exclamation point.  I have tried to uninstall, install, reboot, multiple things, and I keep coming back to the same problem.  I can't find any drivers to install on the logitech website.  

I have looked at multiple threads on this site and tried several things and failed.  Any ideas?

    You can delete them or change to Start value to 4 which would prevent the driver from loading.

    Here's a good link on changing the service state (4 disables the service):

    Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer after.

    Then try to move, rename or delete the problematic Logitech drivers.

    It is the reply by "DeenSteen", and I have pasted it here with a few comments.  Note, for step 4 and below, I needed to do a Safe Boot, and do the moving from the CMD prompt.

    Edit: I found a solution, but I must warn anyone reading this, that this is NOT for those who are technically inexperienced. One wrong move and your OS will need to be reinstalled and you will likely lose all your data. Proceed with caution. I am not responsible for any issues resulting from my instructions. I devised them myself and used no other sources on the internet...because they weren't helpful.

    Instructions

    Step 1. Uninstall Logitech Webcam Software. This can be done through Windows' "Add or Remove Programs". Keep in mind this will NOT remove all LT components from your system.

    Step 2. Reboot.

    Step 3. Recheck Core Isolation Memory Integrity and attempt to turn it on. If it works, go to step 3a. If it doesn't, go to step 3b.

    Step 3a. If it turns on, great, you're done, do not proceed further through these steps. Download and install Logitech Camera Settings from the official Logitech website (this is NOT the old software that is recommended for the older Logitech cameras)

    Step 3b. If it still doesn't work, select review incompatible drivers. Your list should be a lot shorter now. Mine went from 5 incompatibilities to 3. This is good news and makes less overall work for us.

    Step 4. This is for ADVANCED POWERUSERS. Do not proceed if you are not comfortable modifying your operating system files. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers in Windows explorer.

    M Brin Note: this is where I needed to use the CMD prompt and do in Safe Mode.  You can try in native mode and if it reports that the files are not found when you delete, then go to Safe Mode.

    Step 5. Look for the incompatible drivers (File Type: .sys) from your Windows Security incompatible drivers list. Move ONLY the drivers listed in the incompatibility list to another location (I used another SSD, you can put it wherever, just outside of the Windows folder and System32). Do NOTdelete the .sys files, only move them. If you delete them and run into issues later, you won't be able to restore them. It may prompt you to confirm with Admin rights that you intended to move a system file. The three files I had to move were "lvrs64.sys", "lvbflt64.sys" and "lvuvc64.sys".

    M Brin Note: I rebooted at this point.

    Step 6. Once the offending files have been moved to a different location, uninstall your camera from Device Manager (right-click -> Uninstall Device) and it should no longer appear under "Imaging Devices", upon replugging it in or scanning for hardware changes, it should show up under "Cameras" as a generic Webcam with Microsoft being the manufacturer. This is good news.

    Step 7. Verify Memory Integrity can be re-enabled. It will likely require a system reboot.

    Step 8. Once your system has restarted, verify Core Isolation settings are as you intended.

    M Brin Note: I restarted 2x to be sure.  

    Step 9. Download and install Logitech Camera Settings from the official Logitech website. It will come with the updated and digitally-signed drivers for Windows 10 by Logitech. The webcam will still continue to appear under 'cameras' instead of 'imaging devices' in device manager. This is fine. If you can verify it works by opening up the software we just installed, then you should be all set.
