Logitech Camera Can't Install

Hi, I purchased a Microsoft Surface Laptop 4, and can't install either of my Logitech Webcams.  When I plug in the C910, it installs with an Exclamation point next to it.  When I plug in another one, it comes up with installing the Webcam Pro 9000 and the exclamation point.  I have tried to uninstall, install, reboot, multiple things, and I keep coming back to the same problem.  I can't find any drivers to install on the logitech website.  

I have looked at multiple threads on this site and tried several things and failed.  Any ideas?

    Hi Rodrigo,

    I disabled the internal camera, rebooted, plugged in the logitech and it has the same failure.  It does not come up at the imaging section, but the exclamation mark comes up under the USB controllers section.  Note, I am using a Surface Dock, but the problem occurs whether I am putting the USB into the port in the laptop itself, or the surface.

    Additional thoughts?

    Try disabling your built-in camera before pluging the external one.

    Type Device Manager on the start Menu and press Enter. Find your built-in camera, maybe it is under "Imaging Devices", right click it and select "Disable Device" plug your external camera.

    Surface RT is a version of Surface with an ARM processor and has a special Windows version to support it.

    Your Surface 4 does not have an ARM processor and has the regular Windows version installed.

    Thanks Rodrigo.  There is a posting in reply to my inquiry on the logitech board that says: 

    Hi Mitchell,

    It seems that the webcam isn't compatible with Microsoft Surface RT. The UVC video features required for Logitech webcams aren't available for this platform.

    Do you know what the RT means?  If this is the case, is there somewhere I can find out what Webcams are compatable with the Surface, as I really need to use an external webcam on my external monitor that I have attached to the Surface.
