Hello Everyone,

I have Asus TUF F15, and my DTS:X Ultra keeps showing :

"Please connect external speakers to use DTS audio controls.

Please connect a Headphone to use DTS audio controls"

I have tried mostly method available online but noting seems to be working for me, So finally I reinstalled the windows and DTS:X started working but after a day same thing started happening again. I have latest Windows 10 Home and Latest Drivers. Rolling back driver doesn't work too.

If any one have solution then please share.

Thank you

Hello, DTS components available on Asus Website are also not working. And Regarding Downloading and Installing app from Microsoft Store, it happens only when older version of DTS Components is installed (Which is provided by Asus Website). So I am stuck with non working application. I have also tried to get in touch with Asus Support team but they are not interested in solving this.

Finally, I have found a temporary solution. The thing is Instead of using DTS:X Ultra you can use "Realtek Dolby Digital Live Onboard Soundcard Mod" It works pretty much the same the sounds are loud and clear like before.

I found this thread on YouTube after scouring a lot of videos and after some trial and error, this works great.

Note: Before proceeding with this step "please set a system restore point" So, you can roll back if anything goes wrong.

Hello, I have talked with Microsoft Customer Advocate today and they told me to try upgrading the PC by Creation Tool and that actually worked. And after that I have to pause the future updates for now. Hope they will fix it in future. So for Now DTS:X Ultra is working fine :)

That's awesome! I'm gonna do it right now.

What version of windows you upgraded to?

And does it comes with DTS:X Ultra app pre-installed?

There is no version to select, also it won't remove any of your data. It will just fix driver compatibility issue. I have downloaded this tool

    https://download.microsoft.com/download/4/c/c/4cc6c15c-75a5-4d1b-a3fe-140a5e09c9ff/MediaCreationTool20H2.exe

And After running the program select Upgrade option.
