Hello Everyone,
I have Asus TUF F15, and my DTS:X Ultra keeps showing :
"Please connect external speakers to use DTS audio controls.
Please connect a Headphone to use DTS audio controls"
I have tried mostly method available online but noting seems to be working for me, So finally I reinstalled the windows and DTS:X started working but after a day same thing started happening again. I have latest Windows 10 Home and Latest Drivers. Rolling back driver doesn't work too.
If any one have solution then please share.
Thank you

Hello, I need help. I am still having this problem despite having installed the 2 mentioned drivers. I downloaded and installed the "DTS APO4x Service" from the above-given link, however, for the "DTS APO4x" driver though, since it was no longer available on the same given link, I downloaded mine from this youtube link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyGUG_FE7ok
(it seemed legit. I checked all the sizes of the files on the zip, and it exactly matched the ones he showed in his video; I read the comments section which showed positive feedback and no red flags; and once downloaded, I scanned it with my anti-virus (Kaspersky) and it showed no virus nor malware of any kind)
Anyway, I am still having this problem. Anyone knows how to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!
All I did was search a video up on YouTube and downloaded "DTS APO4X" and "DTS APO4X Service" i the video. The youtuber uploaded the links in the description.
After you download both the DTS files, just open them and right click on the .inf files in both folders and click on the install button. Then once you install both of them, you should restart your computer
After that for me, I opened the DTS X Ultra App and the interface seemed to work but nothing changed like in the equaliser I dragged the bars to +10 DB the sound didnt change and I tried different presets but it was just the same low decibel flat sound without DTS
I asked about it here on the forum and for me a solution worked
All I did after this was
Click on the start menu, go to DTS X Ultra, right click, click on more, click on app settings, then just reset the app
Then after a restart everything started working perfectly like it should have, high sound great bass and treble
I have the ASUS TUF A15, Ryzen 5 4600H, GTX 1650
Hope this helps you man this is exactly what I did.
i did the procedures shown in the video but still didn't work.
I just want to share this helpful fix from a youtuber, basically just reinstalling DTS
