intel usb 3.1 extensible host controller not present in device manager

I already have the latest bios

I'm in contact with acer, they said the same thing you said and it is not working, i have to contact them again tomorrow for further troubleshooting options... im also searching on forums but i dont find much info about my issue,,,

I should be content with 465 Mb/sec but my device is supposed to read and write at around 975-980 Mb/sec on a promised 1050Mb/sec

I bought it for the speed and i aint getting it...because of bad configuration of usb-c 3.1 gen 2 not having the drivers installed properly or windows 10 dont detect my device properly .. it says its a scsi ssd drive

Here's the outcome of all my research and tribulations.. acer advertized that my laptop comes with a usb-c 3.1 gen 2 port but in real life after digging deep i found out that it is in fact a usb-c 3.1 gen 1 which is equal to a usb 3.0(only difference is the formfactor of the connector) with speed limitations of 600 mb/s ... i complained to acer for false advertisement but you know they couldnt care less... Im not planning on buying acer's products in the future.

In the worst case scenario what might have happened is some of your system files are corrupted. Unfortunately this can happen. Without paying for support from Microsoft the way I handled this with my Desktop PC one of two ways. First you can Reinstall Windows and then reinstall All "Current" motherboard drivers. When you reinstall you have to completely wipe the hard drive and reinstall. Using 'Media Creation Tool 20H2" it will come to a prompt and it will say Keep files and reinstall windows- Do Not Select That. Under that there is a link that says 'more options'. Select that and it will change to a new screen and select the option to 'keep nothing. Press Next/Ok and it will re calibrate and come back saying Keep nothing on the screen. Then press next to reinstall. Make sure you copy off any files or data you want to keep as it will wipe clean the HD. If you do not Wipe & Reinstall it can and probable come back with the same problem. During the reinstallation Windows will In stall all the current base Intel drivers it has been given to Windows Update. After Installation go to Motherboard Manufacturer and install all 'Current' software and driver installs it has to offer. Then go to Intel and update all Intel drivers. Note: Always after driver and motherboard installs always do a final restart of your PC even if it doesn't ask you to do so. This ensures that all new drivers are loaded into the memory. 

Second thing to try is DISM commands. You can try this first before you reinstall. DISM will compare all Win 10 files against the Microsoft online copy and repair files as needed. This may or may not help, But, worth a try first as it doesn't take that long. 

Right click on Start Menu and select Windows Powershell (admin). Blue window comes up. At C: prompt type exactly as I type with capitals and spaces: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth , then press enter. This process will take a little while. You can see a progress indicator. When its finished restart the PC. See if it helped. DISM will only fix windows files not driver files. 

And as Rodrigo stated make sure Motherboard BIOS are updated to the latest. Always keep power cord attached when doing any of this work. When this Win 10 20H2 driver nightmare started I finally just Wiped and Reinstalled when it happened to my Desktop. It gives you a brand new download of Win10 with a complete full install(no upgrade)
