Lost all audio after May, 2021 Windows 10 update!!!!

At some point, after the May update I lost all PC audio! I've done all the 'no sound' troubleshooting suggestions from Microsoft and everywhere else. I reinstalled all audio drivers, you name it. I even shut down my MSI onboard HD audio in bios and purchased a

Soundblaster Audigy RX sound card, No dice. bought Driver Booster Pro and updated them drivers. Wasted cash!

It's as if the sound just can't get to my output jacks. Foobar doesn't work, NO audio!! You can see the level meters pulse when you test the sound devices. When I unplug the connectors going to my preamp, they pop and buzz so I know the cables to the analog stuff are hot.

I NEED HELP AND I NEED IT FAST!! I'm starting to TWITCH!! I believe it's Microsoft's doing.

    That sounds like a good direction. I got to get some sleep now might have to work tonight, but if I don't, I'll start on it this evening.

    Back in the saddle.

    I have downloaded the updated Windows 10 ISO. Now the burning app say's the ISO is too large for a standard recordable DVD.

    The ISO file is 456 GB and the DVDr shows 446 or so GB available. Strange? What about a USB drive?

    Hi GainbrianX,

    A System restore option as earlier suggested by Jerico T. will help out if you are able to create a restore point. Kindly use this guide to create a restore point Create a system restore point (microsoft.com) then from here you proceed to carryout system restore Use System Restore (microsoft.com) This should help restore your pc back to audio.

    On the second note, as Jerico T. earlier guided you, create a Windows 10 ISO as he has suggested Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com) using at least 8gbUSB Drive. The link will guide on how to create installation media using USB flash drive. Once this is created then make use of the link Jerico T. shared on how to repair your Windows. If that doesn't work;

    I will ask that you plug your created Windows 10 USB after a system restart in your pc USB port and run it directly on your PC like you are installing an application software. This should restore your audio back.

    Note: I will ask that you backup your personal files on D:Drive  or on your external hard drive.
