Lost all audio after May, 2021 Windows 10 update!!!!

At some point, after the May update I lost all PC audio! I've done all the 'no sound' troubleshooting suggestions from Microsoft and everywhere else. I reinstalled all audio drivers, you name it. I even shut down my MSI onboard HD audio in bios and purchased a

Soundblaster Audigy RX sound card, No dice. bought Driver Booster Pro and updated them drivers. Wasted cash!

It's as if the sound just can't get to my output jacks. Foobar doesn't work, NO audio!! You can see the level meters pulse when you test the sound devices. When I unplug the connectors going to my preamp, they pop and buzz so I know the cables to the analog stuff are hot.

I NEED HELP AND I NEED IT FAST!! I'm starting to TWITCH!! I believe it's Microsoft's doing.

This fixed my sound issue with 21h1, but the Ctrl Alt Del is still there (but I can live with that)

MicroSoft's recent Windows 10 updates have really caused more problems than I can see have been fixed. Is the B-team working Windows 10 now? Are they trying to drive people away to upgrade?

It's gonna drive me to Linux...

I would say it is likely their C-team! :)

Nikolay , acatually, CTRL-ALT-DEL fix is also described in this thread, launch secpool.msc , then Click Local Policies to edit an Audit Policy, a User Rights Assignment, or Security Options, find the relevant line and enable/disable.

I also followed your way with copying of Default key , and this worked ! Can anybody explain what actually happened ?

1. I work from home, and only person with access to my PC is my woman, whom I do not have anything to hide from so I usually never lock the PC.
Due to this, I mostly did not even notice the Ctrl+Alt+Del issue. :) But it is there, trying the fix now, please stand by.

EDIT: Works! :) No longer needed to press Ctrl+Alt+Del on the lock screen.
