In the current environment, we know that you continue to rely on your PCs more than ever. As a result, we are initially taking a measured seeker-based approach to the rollout of the May 2021 Update. We are throttling availability up over the coming weeks to ensure a reliable download experience for all, so the update may not be offered to you right away. Additionally, some devices might have a compatibility issue for which a safeguard hold is in place. In these cases, we will not offer the update until we are confident that you will have a good update experience.

Is it going to fix the problem where it causes programs to instantly crash? because I cannot use such programs like device manager, system config, internet exploder (use chrome anyways), my rgb software and over half of my games..... where is that fix? I am really debating if I should just ditch windows and go to lennox... My xbox is going to be smashed in anger of microsoft forcing us into their s*** updates that are basically useless. Add more features that nobody wants...
(1) Was all working well with networking before 21H1? Since it comes in so quickly through Windows Update (9ish minutes all told), I think I'd uninstall it, then let it come in again. Then let KB5003214 back in too, & I hope all will be well. That's at "START, Settings, Update & Security, View Update History, Uninstall Updates"...
(2) But I'm afraid I know little of networks having just this one computer. But I believe this 21H1 is working well with it because I can see my own computer in the Network folder of File Explorer after I switch to a Private profile...
I switch to a Private profile by clicking the Internet Access icon in the Tray & clicking for the Properties of my Wi-Fi connectoid...
In the page that opens, I set it to Private...
Note: If File Explorer is open to the Network folder, you must refresh the page to see the difference.
Because Micro$oft is full of security holes; some so large you can fly LAX through it, they update their **** as they do. It's horrible. Linux is far better than what Windows will ever be. That being said, it's impossible to leave Windows completely because it would result in a nasty financial loss -- I have invested too much money in my system as it is. You can however limit your headaches with Windows by installing RollBack Rx. This program has saved me countless times on failed system updates. I highly recommend it. It appears that 21H1 installed and was verified with winver. But, the update history list does not reflect the updated 21H1 and still displays the 20H2 update? Any thoughts?
