Windows 10 May 2021 update now available

I can't even roll back. The updates are mandatory so, as the computer is now not of use anymore, I was wondering if you could send the replacement cost of about $700 to my paypal account:

Otherwise, I will continue posting this negative to this group everyday until either the roll back is sent to my other system to upload to a usb drive, or you send me the replacement cost.

PS Oh yes, I did try everything including

And the Nvidia card shows the Acer then microsoft logo and spinner prior to the screen going blank, plus, the operating system restore dvd no longer works, though it did before (so I am assuming it too has been infected).

Here's everything I've got at "START, Settings, Update & Security, View Update History, Uninstall Updates"...

(a) KB5000736: Feature update to 21H1. There is no preview for that.

(b) Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.1022: One comes in automatically with every update to facilitate it.

(c) KB5003254: Cumulative Update Preview for.NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10.

(d) KB5003214: (OS Builds 19041.1023, 19042.1023, and 19043.1023) Preview.

My OS Build (at right-click START, System) is 19043.1023 because I took the preview. Yours must be ...985 because that was the last "stable" one released. The stable ones are actually the finalized quality update that normally is released on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. It is called a "B" release. That's when you'll become ...1023 -- in June. The previews are called "C" & "D" releases because they are normally released on the 3rd & 4th Tuesdays/or so of the month. That is how I read it from the site Sumit posted. ok I finally found an answer online, the new optional update is a beta patch for the **** ups in the recent update

I know what a preview is, I was confused because they never offered a preview of 21H1 until *after* the stable quality update, in fact it was the very next day, kinda strange, guess I'll have this optional update that I'll never install, imagine if I installed that preview after I had already installed the final quality update, possible it might throw things off on my computer

ok that was way confusing, I already got the official, stable update, why on earth would they offer a preview (beta?) of the stable update I just got

21H1 was a feature update (new Windows version). As Sumit said, a preview is an early version of the next quality update (new OS Build). It contains only the non-security elements. Going by the article, you can skip the previews & just wait for the quality update proper. I've been taking them. I may now begin to skip them myself now that I've read that article. They are really meant for IT professionals who have to deploy these updates to multiple computers & want a head start.
