From the Blog:

In the current environment, we know that you continue to rely on your PCs more than ever. As a result, we are initially taking a measured seeker-based approach to the rollout of the May 2021 Update. We are throttling availability up over the coming weeks to ensure a reliable download experience for all, so the update may not be offered to you right away. Additionally, some devices might have a compatibility issue for which a safeguard hold is in place. In these cases, we will not offer the update until we are confident that you will have a good update experience.

I know what a preview is, I was confused because they never offered a preview of 21H1 until *after* the stable quality update, in fact it was the very next day, kinda strange, guess I'll have this optional update that I'll never install, imagine if I installed that preview after I had already installed the final quality update, possible it might throw things off on my computer

ok that was way confusing, I already got the official, stable update, why on earth would they offer a preview (beta?) of the stable update I just got

21H1 was a feature update (new Windows version). As Sumit said, a preview is an early version of the next quality update (new OS Build). It contains only the non-security elements. Going by the article, you can skip the previews & just wait for the quality update proper. I've been taking them. I may now begin to skip them myself now that I've read that article. They are really meant for IT professionals who have to deploy these updates to multiple computers & want a head start.

This is not the first time an update has crashed my computer. Previously, I would factory reset it using a windows 10 USB stick, but that no longer works either.

You will need to set the stick as first boot device in bios settings, For me I press Del at Acer screen, then boot options tab.

I would strongly advise turning off wifi first as it seems that the update has also updated the USB stick as that no longer works.

Im really effing POd with this next stupid Microsoft update virus headache..

    Hi There,

I recently updated my windows 10 software. after that My Audio Services are stopped, also I am not able to access the Control Panel. I tried all possible methods to resolve it but all those Iterations Flunked, is there any solutions for that?
